Our office in the City of London offers a multicultural environment and employs people with a diverse range of experience.

We bring incoming tourists from Japan to Europe, more recently expanding into incoming tours from South East Asia to Europe, and the provision of wholesale hotel accommodation and related online products.

Miki Travel are looking for individuals who are passionate about the travel industry and motivated to join a growing organisation.

About the Department

The Technical Sales Team is a growing part of Miki eBusiness FIT Sales Team, its primary role is maximising sales for new and existing clients. Working with clients, IT, and the wider organisation to identify opportunities to help grow the business.

There is now a need for greater reporting and analysis to help shape the approach to these current and future opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Interpret data, analyse results and provide on-going reports
  • Use multiple data points to source information, process results, champion change and provide analysis of outcomes
  • Conduct analysis of current client product and sales
  • Compile reports on delivery and growth of client product
  • Work closely with Sales Management to understand business information needs and then deliver on those requirements
  • Locate and define improvement opportunities
  • Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process, product quality and reliability

Essential

  • Advanced Excel Skills a must
  • A high level technical understanding specifically with regards XML & JSON
  • Must be comfortable using multiple data points, combining results to provide actionable information, and analysis of outcomes
  • Knowledge of e-business processes, disciplines and standards
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be highly detail oriented with respect to documentation and communication
  • Is able to work effectively in a diverse, evolving environment
  • Comfortable communicating across management levels in formal and informal settings
  • Internal and external customer centric thinking and acting
  • Proven ability to operate and succeed in a fast paced environment
  • Strong relationship building skills with a good understanding of different cultures and how to work with them to deliver results, in a global organisation

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Trimetric an asset
