Miki Travel are looking for individuals who are passionate about the travel industry and motivated to join a growing organisation.

Our office in the City of London offers a multicultural environment and employs people with a diverse range of experience.

We bring incoming tourists from Japan to Europe, more recently expanding into incoming tours from South East Asia to Europe, and the provision of wholesale hotel accommodation and related online products.

 

About the Department

B2B Sales have overall responsibility for sales activities of the worldwide outbound travel related business including ‘Visit Japan’

 

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to build strong client relationships and to help us improve and develop our presence in the marketplace.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain good relationships with clients
  • Expand knowledge of destinations
  • Keeping up to date with current market trends
  • To understand our position in the market and work to maintain and improve it
  • Manage own schedule
  • Meet individual monthly sales targets
  • Work within annual budget

 

Skills and Experience

  • Organised and focused individual
  • Ability to organise and manage own schedule
  • Able to handle large volume of work

 

 

Required Experience/Knowledge

 

Essential

  • Fluent English
  • Experience of working in the Travel Industry
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience in a Sales environment
  • Good attention to detail

 

Desirable.

  • Good Customer Service skills
  • Team Player
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Japanese Language an advantage
