Miki is a wholesaler working B2B with tour operators worldwide. Our group incoming to Europe here in London specializes in offering quality accommodation to tourists coming from Asia (Japan, China, India, Korea, Thailand to name but few). 

About the Department

Established 20 years ago Series and Special Tours (SST) our aim is to obtain business for the company by completing strong negotiation in terms of rates and conditions for both Ad-hoc groups and tour series. This requires out of the box thinking and a very flexible approach on top of a deep understanding of markets dynamics and purchasing skills. 

Job Purpose

We are currently recruiting a hotel booking negotiator assistant within our Hotel Division (Series and Special Tours Department - SST) to be responsible for bookings hotels for groups from our Asian incoming division to Europe at the most competitive rates and conditions with tight deadlines.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Contacting hotels by phone, email or fax
  • Select appropriate contracts and non-contracted hotels according to sales requirements
  • Process bookings and inputting details/rates using Miki in house system
  • Produce accurate documents/reports (Microsoft Excel and Word)
  • General admin tasks
  • Negotiate rates on an case by case basis to maximise profitability
  • Negotiate conditions such as payment, cancellation, attrition policies
  • Working very closely with the management on a daily basis
