Modern Slavery Statement

Group Miki Holdings Limited ("GMH") is the UK parent company for the Miki group businesses, who source hotel accommodation and other travel services worldwide and supply these as a wholesaler to the tourism sector. The group has approximately 1550 employees.

This statement applies to GMH and its UK operating business, Miki Travel Limited ("Miki"). Miki's supply chain is made up of a number of third party providers, including large hotel chains, independent hotels and other travel product and service companies, principally in Europe and Asia.

Miki is committed to ensuring there is no slavery or human trafficking in its supply chains or in any part of its business. Miki strives to conduct its business ethically and with integrity and does not knowingly support or deal with any business that engages in modem slavery or human trafficking.

Miki has procedures and policies in place to ensure that its employees are treated in a fair way and to encourage the raising of concerns about wrongdoing or poor working practices in its own business. Miki expects its suppliers to observe similar fundamental principles and to comply with all applicable legislation.

All Miki employees receive an induction into the business where policies, procedures and expectations are outlined. Training is planned for Miki employees in the following financial year to further reinforce these principles.

Miki will continue to review, develop and promote its policies and practices to identify and mitigate risk areas for modem slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modem Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the GMH and Miki slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31st July 2018.
