Our office in the City of London offers a multicultural environment and employs people with a diverse range of experience.
We bring incoming tourists from Japan to Europe, more recently expanding into incoming tours from South East Asia to Europe, and the provision of wholesale hotel accommodation and related online products.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Section Manager of Banking and Accounts is responsible for the reporting and maintaining accurate data in relation to multiple Bank Accounts. Furthermore, they process certain Purchase Ledger tasks, such as payment/prepayment by VCC, and promoting the eBilling program. They also process the Incoming Payments on behalf of the Credit Control team.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage daily balances of all accounts and process incoming and outgoing transactions
- Understand daily inward and outward payments for each bank accounts to ensure relevant departments are notified
- Maintain Petty Cash account and log any ongoing reimbursement making sure the account is accurately reconciled on a monthly basis
- Monitor credit card charges , payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges
- Check and process staff expenses and resolve all queries making sure all claims are posted in the correct manner
- Ensure monthly reconciliations for Bank, Cash and certain Balance Sheet nominals are completed within the timeframe
- Ensure all VCC queries are completed within 24 hours of the initial query being raised
- Ensure payment by VCC is provided promptly following the request being received
- Daily monitoring of all manually created Virtual Credit Cards
- Provide support both internally and externally to continue the rollout of eBilling sponsorship
- Ensure eBilling queries are responded to within 2 working days
Skills and Experience
Relevant Skills/Characteristics
Required Experience/Knowledge:
Essential
- Education level minimum of 5 GCSE including English and Math, A Level, HND, Degree or equivalent
- 1 year experience of working within a Finance Department
- High standard of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to reconcile complex accounts and excellent attention to detail
- Competence in Microsoft Office and accounting Software
- Ability to recognise potential risks to the business that should be escalated
- Strong communication skills, written and verbally

- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
