eBusiness Systems Administrator

Our business diversity ranges from vast numbers of individual tours (FIT), large group series, ad-hoc group tours and covers restaurants, coaches and sightseeing products. The Division

The eBusiness (FIT) division consists of Sales and Purchasing as well as Technology. We distribute competitive hotel rates and travel products via our B2B XML & JSON API’s. We connect our clients directly to the wholesalers, retailers and travel suppliers that we partner, increasing their exposure and enabling our clients to reach customers in new markets. We conduct over 310 million searches per day through our API and we continue to grow at a rapid pace year on year.
We are currently seeking an eBusiness Systems Administrator to support our leadership team within our dynamic, fast paced eBusiness Technology division. This position is ideal for someone who has excellent attention to detail and interested in assisting in all operational and governance aspects of the service. And day to day activities.  They will work closely with our Portfolio Manager, eBusiness Project Manager and Divisional Manager to assist with project activities.

The Role

Main Responsibilities

  • Keep staff organisation chart and seating plans up to date
  • Keep new starter pack updated 
  • Support time logging activities for auditing 
  • Support invoicing activities as needed 
  • Attend project meetings as requested and provide minutes  
  • Help with presentations as required
  • Schedule regular meetings and recording decisions 
  • Deal with paperwork, 3rd party suppliers for any admin tasks  
  • Help set-up, co-ordinate and participate in planning activities, Demo’s meetings as required  
  • Collect data from all teams and assist with processing communication to the team and the business.  
  • Take on some projects admin tasks when the project management team member is away or as requested.

  • Confident at facilitating meetings with small and large number of people at all levels

  • Is able to use initiative and work to tight deadlines under pressure Technical requirements / knowledge
  • Understanding of various software development process models – a plus, but not required
  • Agile knowledge and experience in Agile Scrum – a plus, but not required
  • Version One, Jira or other agile project management tool – a plus, but not required
  • Confluence or other online documentation portals – desirable - a plus, but not required

Divisional Manager Global eBusiness Systems

 

With 50 years’ experience in the wholesale travel industry, Miki Travel offers an exciting international working environment and you will be based in our contemporary offices in central London near to Mansion House, Cannon Street and Bank Underground stations.
